How to Pronounce the Voiced or Hard "Th"

The voiced or hard "th" sound is created with the same lip, tongue and teeth formation of the soft "th" sound, but this time you vibrate your throat area or larynx. Since the hard"th" sound is a voiced sound, you should feel your throat vibrate when creating the sound.

Again, just like the soft "th" sound, in making the hard "th" sound, you should feel your tongue touching your lower lip. Then, lightly bite on your tongue with your upper teeth, with just enough pressure to allow air to pass through. Lastly, pronounce the voiced or hard "th" sound by vibrating your throat area. You should feel a vibration in your throat area as well as air passing through your lip, tongue and teeth formation.

Things to remember:

1) Touch your lower lip with your tongue.
2) Lightly bite on your tongue with your upper teeth.
3) Make the hard "th" sound by vibrating your throat area or larynx and feeling air passing through your lips, tongue, and teeth formation.
4) The hard "th" sound is a voiced sound, so you should feel a vibration in your throat.
